Metallic nanoparticles in organic solar cellsMain Researcher: Honghui Shen
Organic photovoltaics is a promising new route towards cheap and environment-friendly energy production. One of the main issues currently facing these cells is their low efficiency. Our aim is to explore the possibilities offered by the inclusion of metallic nanoparticles. Plasmonic and charge carrier effects associated with these particles can have a profound influence on solar cell operation. Other people involved: Related Research Projects
